Elf Girl

An illustration of an elf/faerie from my own game system that I am working on, based off a photo of my friend Clara. The Elves are intimately linked with nature and as they grow older, their faces become more inhuman, sprouting leaves and branches from their faces. Their clothes are not so much made as grown, a mixture of furs and pelts slung over them, leaves and plant matter bround by strapping and solid carved wooden plates that serve as armour.

As a part of the Faerie race all Elves are magic therefore they are very good with magic, even those who are not necessarily wizards/dreamweavers etc. and are considered the lords and ladies among the other Faerie races. Higher than the Dwarves, the Changelings and the Wisps. In the interest of game mechanics, fairness and costumes, playable Faerie races will normally have a human form with additional costume elements and won't include the Day and Night Elves as they would be totally OP and too hard to roleplay since they can only exist in light or dark.
